The Platinum Account Program needs a resource who can oversee the evolution of the Internal reporting application (Kompass), understand databases and financial systems, work with developers and Finance, resolve application and data issues, and support reliable financial analysis for program leadership.
What you will do
- Act as the business owner of Kompass, driving the application’s evolution, governance, enhancements, and ongoing optimization to support Platinum Program objectives.
- Lead projects and technical initiatives from requirements gathering through implementation, ensuring successful delivery, stakeholder alignment, and effective change management.
- Partner with Finance, business teams, and developers to translate business needs into functional requirements and validate solutions that support operational and financial goals.
- Manage and prioritize application enhancements, bug fixes, and user requests, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement of the platform.
- Oversee data quality, integrity, and consistency across Kompass, financial systems, planning tools, and reporting platforms.
- Analyze financial and operational data, including revenue, backlog, pipeline, and growth metrics, to support strategic decision-making and executive reporting.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing, release readiness, and governance activities to ensure a reliable and user-focused reporting environment.
- Develop insights, recommendations, and presentations for senior leaders, helping drive program performance and business outcomes.
What you bring to the role
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, information systems, business technology management, analytics, business administration or a related field.
- Relevant experience in finance, data management, business applications or financial systems.
- Experience acting as a bridge between business users, Finance and Technology.
- Experience working with development teams or application enhancement initiatives.
Technical capabilities
- Understanding of financial systems, revenue data, backlog, pipeline and financial plans.
- Project management skills, including planning, prioritization, risk management and delivery coordination.
- Ability to read, challenge and validate data logic.
- Functional understanding of databases and data integration concepts.
- Power BI knowledge as an advanced user and Finance business partner, not necessarily as the report developer.
- Azure DevOps or backlog management tools are strong assets.
This position requires written and oral fluency in English. The successful candidate may be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking colleagues or stakeholders while at KPMG.
