As a Manager in SAP S/4HANA Finance Public Cloud, you will lead the Finance workstream on cloud ERP transformations, owning solution direction, workstream governance, and stakeholder outcomes. You will guide Fit-to-Standard decisions, manage cross-stream dependencies (SD/MM, data, integrations), and oversee end-to-end delivery from design through deployment and post-go-live stabilization.


What you will do

  • Lead Finance Fit-to-Standard workshops and drive alignment to SAP leading practices and process standardization within clean-core constraints.
  • Own Finance workstream delivery execution from design through deployment and early-life stabilization; manage scope, plan, RAID, and quality outcomes.
  • Produce and govern core deliverables including solution designs, configuration rationale, test artifacts, cutover plans, deployment readiness materials, and training support.
  • Oversee Finance configuration approach in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud using CBC/SSCUI and approved scope items; ensure design decisions are documented and adhered to.
  • Partner with integration and data teams to plan interfaces, validate data migration readiness, and support controlled movement of data across environments.
  • Lead integrated testing across unit, system integration, and UAT – leveraging test automation where applicable – and ensure requirements traceability through scenarios, defects, fixes, and sign-off.
  • Help clients strengthen ERP controls, audit readiness, and compliance by embedding controls into design, testing, cutover, and post-production processes from the start.
  • Coordinate deployment and go-live readiness activities, including cutover planning, issue resolution, training support, and early-life stabilization.
  • Provide executive-level client communication, decision support, and escalation management; build trusted-advisor relationships with Finance leadership.
  • Coach and develop team members; support practice growth through knowledge sharing and contribution to proposals and estimations.

What you bring to the role

  • 8+ years of SAP Finance experience with leadership on at least three full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA program Public Cloud.
  • Demonstrated workstream leadership across finance domains (R2R, close, intercompany, AP/AR) including integrated design decisions.
  • Proven governance capability: planning, RAID management, dependency management, and quality assurance of core implementation deliverables.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to influence and drive fit-to-standard adoption and clean-core decisions.
  • Experience leading integrated testing, cutover readiness, and go-live/hypercare stabilization.
  • Proficiency with SAP Activate delivery approach and tools (e.g., DDA/CALM), and configuration approaches in SAP Public Cloud (CBC/SSCUI).
  • Strong communication and executive presence; able to translate complex SAP topics into business impacts and decisions.

KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information

The expected base salary range for this position is $101,000 to $130,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
