As the Senior Manager for the Recharge Center of Excellence, you will build and lead Recharge Center of Excellence across people, process, governance, and enabling architecture, establishing it as the global authority for recharge. You will be responsible for leading a comprehensive strategy to govern and optimize KPMGI’s global recharge processes.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will lead a specialist team supporting the Recharge Center of Excellence, and champion a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging AI and other technologies to bring new efficiencies. A critical part of your role will be to act as an effective communicator and trusted partner to senior leaders, navigating uncertainty and change while driving the strategic direction of the CoE.


What you will do

  • Define, own and execute the end-to-end strategy for the Recharge CoE, establishing a clear multi-year roadmap aligned to KPMGI priorities
  • Design, implement, and govern a globally consistent framework of policies, procedures, and controls for all recharge activities
  • Act as a strategic partner to Global Finance, business unit leaders, and other key stakeholders, understanding their needs and providing expert guidance.
  • Shape alignment across functions by translating complex financial information into clear, decision-ready actionable insights.
  • Set direction for continuous improvement, automation, and innovation across the recharge lifecycle. Proactively identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency within the recharge lifecycle. Champion the use of AI and other emerging technologies to enhance accuracy, reduce manual effort, and provide deeper insights.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing team of resources, setting a clear vision and fostering a culture of collaboration and intellectual curiosity.

What you bring to the role

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, shared services, or financial planning & analysis, with a demonstrated history of leadership. Experience in a global or complex matrixed organization is strongly preferred.
  • Proven success designing and executing financial governance frameworks and strategies, preferably related to cost allocation, transfer pricing, or internal recharges.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams, preferably in a global context, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
  • A strong background in stakeholder management with a proven track record of partnering with senior leaders to drive change and implement strategic initiatives.
  • Ability to think holistically to define a clear strategic vision and drive the execution of that vision with a high degree of organization and resiliency.

KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range Information

The expected base salary range for this position is $105,000 to $145,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
