Our Team
As a Senior Manager in Data, Analytics and Automation, you will be part of our Technology Consulting practice within Consulting Firm. Our global network of professionals collaborates to design innovative, data-driven and AI-enabled solutions.
We integrate across advisory domains including Business Intelligence, Advanced Analytics, Digital Transformation, and Enterprise Solutions to help organizations embed AI into their core business strategy. We collaborate across service offerings on AI driven solutions.
The successful candidate will lead AI and advanced analytics strategy engagements, helping organizations identify, prioritize, and design AI-enabled opportunities.
This role is focused on strategy, use case design, and operating model definition—not model development or implementation. You will work with business and technology leaders to shape how AI is adopted responsibly and effectively across the enterprise.
What you will do
- Lead the development of AI and advanced analytics strategies and roadmaps
- Identify and prioritize AI use cases aligned to business value and strategic objectives
- Design AI operating models, including governance, roles, and delivery structures
- Define frameworks for responsible AI, including model risk management, ethics, and compliance
- Translate business challenges into AI-enabled solutions and high-level designs
- Develop business cases and value realization frameworks for AI initiatives
- Facilitate workshops to drive AI ideation, use case discovery, and prioritization
- Align AI strategy with underlying data capabilities and enterprise architecture
- Advise on adoption of emerging technologies (e.g., GenAI) at a strategic level
- Support executive stakeholders in understanding AI risks, opportunities, and investment decisions
- Collaborate with data strategy teams to ensure alignment between data and AI transformation
- Contribute to the development of AI advisory offerings and thought leadership
- Mentor team members in AI strategy, analytics translation, and business engagement
What you bring to the role
- University degree in data science, computer science, business, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in analytics, AI, or data-driven strategy roles
- Proven experience in defining AI strategies, use cases, and operating models
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and lifecycle (without requiring hands-on development)
- Experience with GenAI and emerging AI trends is strongly preferred
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate analytics into business value
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and executives
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
- Experience in financial services or insurance is considered an asset
- Familiarity with AI governance, ethics, and regulatory considerations is an asset
KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range Information
The expected base salary range for this position is $147,000 to $192,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
