Overview

We are looking for a right-hand who will report to the Quebec region Managing partner and who will be working closely with the Chief of staff. This person will provide administrative support to our team and will act as a true strategic associate to the Managing partner and the Chief of Staff. They will play a key role in optimizing leadership time, fluidity of communications, coordination of priorities and the success of strategic initiatives. Through their judgment, political acumen and ability to anticipate, they will directly contribute to the effectiveness and impact of the leadership and will be responsible for managing projects efficiently while maintaining a high level of precision and attention to details.


What you will do

  • Provide strategic administrative support to the Managing partner and the Chief of staff, including proactive and independent management of agendas, strategic meetings coordination, and travel planning.
  • Contribute to the continuity of strategic actions, as well as to the planning and implementation of various projects by monitoring decisions, timelines and deliverables (including meeting preparation).
  • Help the Chief of staff on certain committees and files.
  • Monitor and support the planning of the Managing partner’s co-chairmanship fundraising campaigns.
  • Revise and share organizational communications.
  • Ensure timely processing and approval of invoices and expense accounts.

What you bring to the role

  • 5+ years of administrative experience at an executive level with strong technical capabilities
  • Project management experience, an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French, as well as interpersonal skills
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of programs (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks at once and prioritize assignments effectively
  • Great attention to detail, precision and consistency
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion

This position requires written and oral fluency in English. The successful candidate will be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking colleagues or stakeholders nationally in our English speaking provinces while at KPMG.
