What you will do

Our Edmonton office is seeking undergraduate business, commerce, accounting, or finance students who intend to pursue their Canadian CPA designation to join the team as an 4 month or 8 month intern/co-op hire in January 2027 as a part of our Enterprise Tax practice.


Our Enterprise Tax Team

The Enterprise Tax practice at KPMG is focused on supporting entrepreneurs, family businesses, privately held companies, and high net worth individuals and families. Helping our clients to succeed is our bottom line. In addition to providing our clients with assurance, accounting, and tax services, we work with other members of our firm to offer a wide range of services.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist and support senior staff in completing compilation engagements
  • Identifying and resolving accounting and tax issues
  • Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns
  • Preparation of Trust Tax returns, Partnership returns, payroll and investment information returns, etc.
  • Developing strong technical accounting and tax skills
  • Taking primary responsibility and ownership of files by independently managing workflow and presenting completed work product to managers and/or partners on a timely basis
  • Other special projects as assigned
