As a Senior Manager, you will lead and deliver Supply Chain transformation and modernization projects within the Retail & Consumer industries, ensuring client needs are met with regards to their Supply Chain goals and objectives. In collaboration with the client, you will design, drive, and lead the transformation from discovery to the completion of key deliverables and subsequent implementation activities. You have a strong working knowledge various key enabling technologies such as SAP, Blue Yonder, Microsoft, Oracle, data platforms as well as various analytics and decision intelligence platforms and more.
What you will do
Your responsibilities will include collaborating with client executive stakeholders to understand the enterprise's objectives for the projects, gather and shape business requirements, develop the business case and oversee a team of functional experts for design through to implementation. Additionally, you will drive innovation by identifying opportunities to optimize client performance encouraging professional growth and collaboration for internal and external teams.
- Support the consulting business development cycle by leading and/or participating in the consulting services proposal response process.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and tailor consulting services to meet those needs.
- Lead and manage large supply chain modernization engagements from initiation to completion.
- Conduct comprehensive supply chain assessments, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to define future state, conduct gap analysis and develop achievable roadmaps that deliver the desired business outcome
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize operations and achieve business objectives.
- Determine how to best apply enabling technologies such as data platforms, to supplement legacy and incumbent technologies to drive innovation and additional client value
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide thought leadership and expertise in supply chain management best practices.
- Mentor and develop junior consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration and professional growth.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction. Remain up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes impacting supply chain management.
What you bring to the role
- Over 10 years in management consulting, specialising in retail and consumer supply chains.
- End-to-end supply chain domain knowledge with a preference in planning, data platforms and analytics
- A solid understanding of supply and value chain leading practices and their application in real-world scenarios.
- Proven track record of managing transformational projects or leading major workstreams in various industries.
- Experience implementing ERP and supply chain solutions such as SAP, Blue Yonder, Oracle, Palantir and other data platform solutions
- Exceptional problem-solving, lateral and analytical thinking
- Excellent executive presence, facilitation and communication skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs.
KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range Information
The expected base salary range for this position is $147,000 to $192,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
