The Conference Floor Concierge is responsible for creating a welcoming, professional, and efficient environment on the conference and practice floors. This role ensures visitors and employees are greeted, directed, and supported throughout their experience, while maintaining high standards of service, security, and operational excellence.

** The role of Conference Floor Concierge is deemed to be an essential service and is required to be performed in office.


What you will do

  • Greet, welcome, and direct visitors to their meeting locations on the Conference Floor
  • Confirm meeting room bookings in the WSD system; assist with booking, cancellations, and modifications
  • Oversee event setup and catering arrangements; collaborate with AV, Catering, Reception, and Office Services teams
  • Maintain security by following procedures and monitoring lobby activity
  • Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs
  • Support reception responsibilities and act as backup for both Hoteling and Reception teams
  • Maintain continuity among work teams by sharing updates and supporting process improvements
  • Gather and act on feedback from event hosts to continuously improve on-site conference services

What you bring to the role

  • High school Diploma
  • 1-2 years of work experience as a Receptionist or within the Hospitality industry
  • Professional and positive customer service attitude
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative, resourceful, and proactive problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
  • Experience using the Microsoft suite of applications (Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Teams
  • Occasionally able to work until 6:00 p.m. to provide coverage for the receptionist as needed

KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range Information

The expected base salary range for this position is $38,000 to $52,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
