We are seeking a dynamic, client focused leader to elevate our Management Consulting practice in Vancouver, with a focus on building out the team. If you are passionate about building high-impact teams, delivering exceptional client outcomes, and driving strategic change, we want to hear from you.
What you will do
- Drive business development efforts in market, working internally and externally to shape large scale transformations with clients.
- Manage projects including large scale Finance transformation, system implementation and process improvement endeavors
- Help CFOs shape the next generation of Finance and jumpstart their journey as they move forward with AI and digital driven transformation
- Provide leadership, direction and guidance to senior and executive level client stakeholders
- Help organizations manage risks and improve performance
- Identify business development opportunities for Finance Transformation advisory projects
- Work with senior KPMG leaders to enhance and integrate service offerings across Management Consulting practices
- Manage, mentor and train Consultants and Senior Consultants within the Finance Transformation advisory practice
- Develop relationships and partnerships with other KPMG offices
What you bring to the role
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Commerce, or related field; MBA or Accounting designation preferred
- 10+ years of progressive experience in consulting/advisory within Accounting and/or Finance, including direct management of Manager-level professionals
- Proven track record in business development, client acquisition, and expanding advisory services across diverse industries.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and guide teams to deliver complex projects
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset for identifying opportunities and developing innovative solutions for clients
- Experience in developing and executing proposals, marketing campaigns, and thought leadership initiatives.
Strong collaborative skills, with a history of building partnerships across organizational boundaries and driving cross-functional success - Experience working with technology including ERP platforms (Oracle E-Business Suite/Cloud, SAP/SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365), or other finance software (Blackline, Workiva, and other finance automation tools etc.)
- Experience and interesting AI, specifically as it relates to the finance function
KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information
The expected base salary range for this position is $131,000 to $179,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
