We are seeking a dynamic Manager to elevate our Management Consulting practice in Toronto, focusing on the insurance and financial services industry. What you will do
- Lead & Inspire: Motivate and coach your team, fostering a culture of inclusion and continuous growth. Mentor junior consultants and collaborate across service lines.
- Deliver Excellence: Plan and manage complex client engagements, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery of high-quality solutions that exceed expectations.
- Drive Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, nurture client relationships, lead proposals and presentations, and collaborate across KPMG to expand Finance Transformation practice.
- Be a Trusted Advisor: Build trusted relationship with CFOs to help them navigate through the GenAI reimagined Finance Function. In addition, KPMG FT will be the business architect that helps CFOs shape the next generation of Finance and jumpstarts their journey as they move forward with AI and digital driven transformation
- Shape the Practice: Expand our capabilities through strategic recruitment and innovative solutions, responding to evolving client needs and market trends.
What you bring to the role
- 5+ years’ experience in consulting or advisory, with a focus on large-scale Finance Transformation projects and proven leadership in client-facing roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Commerce, or related field; MBA or Accounting designation preferred.
- Expertise in business intelligence, analytics, and reporting strategy implementation.
- Experience working with technology including ERP platforms (Oracle E-Business Suite/Cloud, SAP/SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365), or other finance software (Blackline, Workiva, and other finance automation tools etc.)
- Experience and interesting AI, specifically as it relates to the finance function.
- Experience in the insurance industry is expected (consulting or with insurance organizations), experience with financial institutions more broadly is an asset
- Strong relationship management and business development skills, with a track record of building personal and practice brands through networking and thought leadership.
- Superior written communication skills, including report and proposal development.
- Innovation mindset, with a passion for developing market-first solutions.
- Willingness and ability to travel for projects (primarily short trips within Canada, with consideration for family responsibilities)
KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range Information
The expected base salary range for this position is $117,000 to $135,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
