At KPMG, you’ll join a team of diverse and dedicated problem solvers, connected by a common cause: turning insight into opportunity for clients and communities around the world.
Our Finance Transformation team is looking for a professional like you with the skills and drive to make a real difference. We partner with CFOs and finance leaders to modernize operations, strengthen governance, and unlock insights that drive profitability. We combine deep accounting expertise with innovative technology to help organizations build resilient, data-driven finance functions.
Our work focuses on optimizing core finance processes, ranging from: project & fixed asset accounting, accounts payable & accounts receivable, budgeting & forecasting, general ledger & period-end processes and financial & managerial reporting. This foundation enables us to design a future state target operating model, implement finance leading practices enabled by technology, and deliver lasting business value.
Success in this role requires comfort with ambiguity and the ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments where priorities shift and solutions are not always clear-cut.
What you will do
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to redesign and improve finance functions across process, people, reporting, governance and technology.
- Design and implement process improvements and technology solutions within finance functional areas.
- Act as a trusted advisor and liaison between clients and leadership; take ownership of deliverables and ensure quality outcomes.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and insights for client stakeholders.
- Support business development activities, including proposal creation and thought leadership contributions.
- Continuously develop your consulting toolkit and technical expertise through structured learning and mentorship.
- Help foster an inclusive, collaborative environment where colleagues feel empowered to bring their whole selves to work.
What you bring to the role
- Strong foundation in accounting principles and/or completion of an accounting designation (CPA or equivalent) is considered an asset.
- Experience with finance-enabling technologies such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or Microsoft Dynamics 365, or a desire to specialize in one of these platforms.
- 3–5 years of combined consulting or relevant industry experience in accounting or finance processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Ability to facilitate workshops, lead collaborative sessions, and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders.
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage client stakeholders and support/lead the creation of project deliverables.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work creatively and collaboratively to address client requirements.
- Project management skills, including the ability to create and manage a project plan, analyze project financials, and identify project risks/issues and suggest mitigation strategies.
- Willingness to travel as required for client engagements.

AI Usage
We embrace the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance the candidate experience and streamline our recruitment processes.
