Our Toronto office is seeking undergraduate students to join the team as a summer intern or co-op in Summer 2026 as a part of our Risk Services practice.

As a Co-op Student, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with deep consulting and industry expertise, helping clients address complex cybersecurity challenges from strategy through execution. You will gain hands-on experience in IAM and related cybersecurity practices while collaborating with professionals across various projects.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in implementing and supporting identity and access management solutions for clients.
- Participate in analyzing client requirements and helping design secure IAM processes.
- Support the team in preparing documentation, reports, and presentations for client engagements.
- Contribute to testing, troubleshooting, and validating IAM configurations and integrations.
- Help monitor and maintain security controls to ensure compliance with policies and standards.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve cybersecurity challenges.
- Continue to develop your technical knowledge and consulting skills.
- Build strong internal and external relationships and represent the KPMG brand professionally.
Due to the highly confidential nature of work with federal government departments, candidates must be eligible for Secret-level security clearance. This process requires Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status, as mandated by the Government of Canada’s security screening standards.

- Strong interest in cybersecurity, particularly identity and access management (IAM).
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as authentication, authorization, and risk management.
- Familiarity with IT systems, networks, or cloud environments is an asset.
- Ability to analyze data and prepare clear, concise documentation and reports.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
