Our Entreprise Tax group in Canada works with clients to help reduce federal and provincial corporate income taxes. We also assist with ruling requests, tax audits, and assessments from federal and provincial tax authorities. We don’t just help ensure our clients meet their income tax filing obligations—we proactively identify and implement income tax savings opportunities that improve and strengthen their businesses. Through personalized tax planning advice, our tax teams help clients gain a competitive edge. Working in KPMG’s Tax group means supporting clients with their planning and compliance needs, while also using your skills, knowledge, and judgment to influence a client’s business strategy—even their bottom line.
What you will do
- Participate in the development of tax planning and corporate reorganizations.
- Lead and present tax research.
- Assess the accuracy and relevance of work performed by less experienced staff.
- Integrate into the tax engagement team to meet clients’ planning and compliance needs.
- Collaborate with other office members to secure new engagements for the firm.
- Lead engagements for small and medium-sized clients.
What you bring to the role
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a public accounting firm.
- Completion of the CFE and CPA designation obtained or in progress.
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic about tackling diverse challenges.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines under pressure.
- Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to achieving goals.
- Understanding of client needs to provide insightful analysis and advice.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build relationships with clients, colleagues, and the community.
- Willingness to learn from experience and pursue continuous improvement.

While the selected person needs to speak French first, this position requires an excellent command of English to ensure effective daily communication with stakeholders located outside of Quebec. Additionally, the person in this role will need to analyze and draft correspondence as well as various documents in English in order to communicate with our national multidisciplinary teams.
