The Velocity Project Officer plays a crucial role in the successful evolution of KPMG Velocity. This position is responsible for coordinating project activities, managing stakeholder relationships across member firms, and ensuring effective communication and reporting. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to drive project progress and maintain alignment among diverse stakeholders


What you will do

  • Act as a central point of contact for project stakeholders across various member firms, fostering strong working relationships.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders, addressing concerns and managing expectations.
  • Ensure timely dissemination of project updates, decisions, and relevant information to all involved parties
  • Prepare comprehensive briefing materials for leadership and key stakeholders, summarizing project status, risks, and key decisions.
  • Develop and manage project communication plans, including drafting announcements, updates, and other relevant communications.
  • Ensure all communications are clear, concise, and tailored to the audience

What you bring to the role

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field; MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred
  • Proven experience in change management, large scale transformation and project coordination or project support roles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
