The Manager, Supplier Risk Management supports the execution of supplier risk processes focused on the identification, assessment, and mitigation of third party supplier-related risks, including integrity, financial stability, operational resilience, sustainability and compliance risks. The role also supports contract governance, monitoring and reporting initiatives.
What you will do
- Conducts supplier risk assessments and due diligence research, develops risk scorecards, liaises with stakeholders to obtain relevant information, collaborates with GP sourcing teams and business stakeholders to define risk mitigation strategies and manages risk escalation process
- Supports implementation of a new supplier information system including end user testing of risk functionality, acts as the subject matter expert for research and due diligence data sources and maintains up to date risk records in GP systems
- Manages quarterly process to facilitate effective communication of key contract terms, engages with GP sourcing team to promote compliance with the process, manages escalations and supports internal audit and remediation initiatives on supplier risk
- Supports engagement and education initiatives to GP team and stakeholders on supplier risk, supports KPMG wide supplier risk management programs and supports maintenance of accurate supplier risk guidance on internal portal sites
- Maintains accurate risk assessment records and audit trail, prepares risk reports and supports ongoing maintenance of process documentation
What you bring to the role
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in supplier management, procurement, audit, compliance or related roles, preferably in an international team.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
- Experience working with or within a procurement team and understands generic procurement processes and principles
- Understands risk assessment principles
- Experience in executing research and due diligence
