What you will do

Our Vancouver office is seeking students in sustainability management, business, public policy, engineering, environmental and climate science, and other related programs to join the team as a full-time hire in January 2026 & Fall 2026 as a part of our ESG team.

KPMG's Sustainability & ESG Services practice provides a full range of advisory services to corporate and public clients. Core services include sustainability and Environmental, Social and Governance [ESG] strategy and risk assessments, climate change strategy development and decarbonization, ESG implementation support, sustainable finance, and reporting .

What you bring to the role

  • Undergraduate degree in sustainability, business, environmental studies, engineering, environmental or climate science, or other related programs
  • Ability to combine both quantitative and qualitative analysis to solve complex and abstract sustainability-related business problems
  • Ability to bring fresh ideas, think creatively and explore innovative solutions, including the use of AI to solve complex challenges
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Willingness to learn, and ability to apply lessons learned to future activities
  • Demonstrated record of leadership roles in academic and/or extracurricular activities; leadership in sustainability-related activities a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver commitments on time
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • You develop collaborative relationships: Establishes meaningful relationships internally and externally and develops wide and productive networks
  • You develop and motivate others: Engages others, instils confidence, and supports people to find meaning in their work and achieve exceptional results

KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information

The expected annual base salary range for this position is $50,000 - $66,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
