What you will do
We are looking for undergraduate or master’s students with knowledge in cybersecurity to join the Advisory Services function team as an intern.
KPMG is seeking a skilled and energetic individual to join its Cybersecurity team, in the Advisory group. The ideal candidate will have a solid track record, strong analytical, writing, and communication skills, as well as demonstrated teamwork abilities.
The intern will work within a dynamic and experienced team that provides advice to public, private, and non-profit sector clients, contributing to a variety of projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Automating processes to improve cybersecurity analysis.
- Working on the deployment of serverless infrastructure in the cloud and optimizing artificial intelligence models.
- Sorting large-scale data (notably from vulnerability scans or pentests) to produce comprehensible and readable reports for clients.
- Understanding data from both a technical and business perspective.
- Collaborating with experienced analysts and pentesters who will assist in analyses and results.
What you bring to the role
We are looking for candidates passionate about cybersecurity, meeting the following qualifications:
- Outstanding academic records in undergraduate or graduate studies, preferably in cybersecurity-related fields.
- Strong extracurricular activity record (case competitions, student associations, collective initiatives, etc.).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including experience drafting presentations and compelling reports.
- Ability to work effectively in teams and establish relationships.
- Proven ability to demonstrate initiative, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with diverging priorities.
- Strong ability to build relationships with clients, colleagues, and community members.
- Willingness to continuously learn, acquire new skills, take on new responsibilities, and conduct research to broaden your knowledge.
- Relevant professional experience where you gained insights into our main business sectors (an asset).
