Job Purpose
To be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and help in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data/reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions. The Order to Cash Processing team provides services to clients and organizations by helping them in the areas of optimizing working capital, providing real-time visibility and end-to-end management of revenue and cash flow, and streamlining billing processes. This team over looks the entire processes that starts from customers inquiry, sales order to delivery and invoicing. The Collections Operations team focuses on managing collections and disputes such as debt collection, reporting on aged debt, bad debt provisioning, trade promotions, and outperform cash reconciliations. The team is responsible for follow up for missing remittances, prepare refund package with accuracy and supply to clients, record all collections activities in a consistent manner as per client process (tool), delivery of process requirements to achieve key performance targets, and ensure compliance to internal controls, standards, and regulations
Responsibilities:

- Knowledge and expertise in Finance Processes
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders Stakeholder Management and Multiple Client Interactions. Roles and Responsibilities:
- In this role you are required to identify and assess complex problems for area of responsibility
- You will need to create solutions in situations which requires an in-depth analysis/evaluation of variable factors
- This will require alignment to strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near-term goals
- Your primary interaction will be with senior management at a client and/or within the organisation, involving matters that may require acceptance of an alternate approach
- Some latitude in decision-making is involved, you will act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments
- You will need to flag risks to clients and stakeholders and propose action plans where needed
- You will need to have an innovative mindset to identify improvement opportunities to optimize processes, decrease costs and increase client value
- Decisions that you make in this role will have a major day to day impact on area of responsibility
- You will be managing medium - large sized teams and ensuring deliverable are met
- You would require transformation mindset and eye for identifying automation/process improvement opportunities. Please note this role may require you to work in rotational shifts.
Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Worked closely with upstream and downstream teams to inputs are accurately set up in the system.
- Partnered with Finance, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable teams to support invoice submissions, clarifications, and timely resolution of queries.
- Coordinated across teams to ensure smooth month end close, maintaining process accuracy and keeping backlogs to a minimum.
- Acted as a key point of contact for O2C related escalations, ensuring clear communication and faster issue resolution with stakeholders.
Process Management & Reporting
- Oversaw billing trackers, working files, and service level data to support reporting, reconciliations, and audit requirements.
- Reviewed and updated SOPs, process documents, and checklists to ensure they reflected current business needs and operating practices.
- Identified process gaps and improvement areas, and supported initiatives to improve efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround time across billing activities.
- Led and supported system changes, UAT testing, and rollouts of new tools or enhancements related to billing and O2C processes.
Functional & Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of the end to end Order to Cash process, with hands on experience in billing, collections, and cash application.
- Working knowledge of SAP (preferred), with the ability to review and guide teams on service codes, quantities, rate structures, and sales order flows.
- Good understanding of finance processes including billing validation, invoice submission, dispute handling, and month end close support.
- Strong Excel skills including lookups, pivot tables, and data validation to support reporting, analysis, and operational tracking.
- Ability to review data, identify inconsistencies, and guide teams in resolving billing and O2C related issues effectively.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling smooth coordination across Sales, Finance, Operations, and customers.
- Well organized, detail oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while working independently with minimal supervision.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (B.Com/M.Com/MBA Finance preferred).
- 12 - 16 years of experience in billing, sales order processing, or Order to Cash operations—preferably in a service based or aviation/logistics environment.
- Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems is required.
- Ability to manage month end timelines and handle peak-period workloads when needed.
- Comfortable working with global or cross functional stakeholders.
- This role requires working from the office throughout the week and requires the candidate to operate from our Bengaluru location on all working days
