The opportunity
As a US Tax Manager in our U.S. Tax Practice, you will lead and supervise complex tax engagements, delivering high-quality compliance services and innovative tax planning for multinational clients across public and private sectors. You will analyze and resolve intricate U.S. and international tax issues, develop practical and creative solutions, and guide the preparation and review of corporate and partnership tax returns. Your role includes conducting federal and state tax research, addressing cross-border tax matters, drafting technical memos, and leading the implementation of strategic tax recommendations to help clients achieve benefit-driven outcomes.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- An undergraduate degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years of U.S. tax experience.
- Relevant accounting designation or certification, such as US CPA or US Enrolled Agent, or equivalent experience.
- A deep understanding of U.S. corporate federal and state income tax compliance, including income tax provision preparation and review.

EY reports salary ranges in accordance with applicable provincial pay transparency legislation. Individual salaries within the anticipated salary ranges noted below are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and applicable skill sets.
- Vancouver: $92,000 to $138,000
