Your key responsibilities

Client Engagement & Strategy

  • Partner with Finance, HR, and Procurement stakeholders to define travel and expense strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Facilitate workshops to translate client requirements into SAP Concur capabilities.
  • Advise clients on best practices for expense policy compliance, audit controls, and user experience.

Solution Design & Implementation

  • Lead the configuration and deployment of SAP Concur modules including Expense, Travel, Invoice, and Request.
  • Design workflows, approval hierarchies, and audit rules tailored to client policies.
  • Ensure seamless integration with ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC), payroll, and credit card providers.

Experience & Innovation

  • Apply user-centric design principles to create intuitive and efficient travel and expense experiences.
  • Introduce innovations such as mobile expense capture, OCR-enabled receipt scanning, and AI-driven fraud detection.
  • Leverage analytics to optimize spend visibility and policy enforcement.

Project Delivery

  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, HR, and Finance to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
  • Support testing, training, and change enablement activities.

Team Collaboration

  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing within the SAP COI and HR tech team.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Deep understanding of travel and expense processes and compliance requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Concur modules (Expense, Travel, Invoice, Request).
  • Ability to manage client relationships and lead workshops.
  • Proficiency in system configuration, data migration, and third-party integrations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP Concur consulting or implementation.
  • Proven experience implementing SAP Concur Expense and Travel modules.
  • SAP Concur certifications (preferred).
  • Experience working with global clients and distributed teams.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience with SAP Concur Invoice and Request modules.
  • Exposure to travel booking platforms and corporate card integrations.
  • Familiarity with expense analytics and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance in travel and expense management.

What we look for

  • You bring structure, empathy, and innovation to travel and expense transformation.
  • You elevate expense management from a task to a strategic capability.
  • You build trust with clients and teams through clarity, confidence, and delivery excellence.
  • You connect travel and expense to broader finance and operational strategies and tell that story well.
