The opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and confident individual with related work experience and a ‘can do’ attitude to join our Brand, Marketing & Communications (BMC) - Pursuits team. As a Pursuits Professional you will actively participate in the bid management process/cycle and support the development of content for proposals, oral presentations, and other pursuit collateral. In this role, you will work with Senior Partners, Senior Managers, Managers, client service professionals, and other members within the Core Business Services team to coordinate business development efforts, promote our brand reputation, and deliver exceptional value to our clients.

Your key responsibilities

• Pursuit Management: Draft impactful proposal sections, support bid teams throughout the entire bid process, and track timelines and compliance effectively.
• Communications: Update pursuit materials on SharePoint/other required terminals, manage bid queries, and maintain collateral repositories.
• Administration and reporting: Monitor regional procurement platforms, leverage pursuits data to assist in opportunity identification, conduct credentials research, generate actionable insights for leadership decision-making, and archive relevant documents.
• Leadership: Provide quality management for final submissions, champion brand guidelines, and liaise with regional/global teams as required.
• Innovation: Identify process improvements, share lessons learned and leading practices from pursuits and other experiences, and contribute to team initiatives across the broader BMC community and the global firm.

What we look for

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in pursuits, bid management, business development, marketing, or project management, preferably in a professional services environment
• Highly developed IT skills, including MS Outlook, Share Point, Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Certification in relevant bid/proposal management would be considered advantageous
• Working experience as a content editor/proofreader, and familiarity with Adobe Photoshop or other digital communication tools would be beneficial
• Good understanding of government procurement processes and tendering procedures is an asset
• Education: University/bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business Studies, Marketing, Sales, Strategic Marketing or a related field); a graduate degree is an asset
