As an Experience Management Reporting CoE, Assistant Director, you will be a key contributor to several of EY’s Service Line EM teams with a focus on the Assurance practice. You will create and oversee the delivery of reports and analysis around deployment, utilization, development and capacity management. You will partner closely with EM and business stakeholders to proactively identify trends while supporting teams on the accuracy of data in our deployment systems/enablers. You will be a trusted point of contact for annuity resource planning, and participate in project support for both focused workstream and overall elements of EM system implementations. You will also be a key contributor to internal initiatives related to AI, RPA, and data visualization.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Reporting

  • Act as a subject matter resource on EM tools/enablers, particularly those related to annuity resource planning
  • Create routine reports using existing templates that show utilization performance, availability forecasts, and variances between actual and forecasted utilization
  • Assist with ad-hoc analytics requests by pulling reports from EY systems and tools
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of accurate client-serving records in EM systems (i.e., roster updates, new hire records, etc.)
  • Partner with Talent, Workforce Planning, and Finance on headcount reconciliation

Teaming:

  • Lead a team of Analysts and provide guidance to team members both onshore and offshore that support EM reporting
  • Understand system and reporting escalation points to resolve problems accordingly
  • Demonstrate effective teaming with Canadian EM team by proactively/creatively responding to analytics requests
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects as required (i.e., creation of dashboards, etc)
  • Identify ways to improve EM processes and contribute to team initiatives
  • Actively support Americas Experience Management and EY enablers including Retain; EY Advance; MERA; Mercury; SuccessFactors, etc.
  • Work with peers across the Americas Assurance EM by contributing to EM priorities; task forces; and/or projects

Special Projects

  • Contribute to project management activities related to system implementation and deployment
  • Take on a workstream focused on annuity planning, centering on but not limited to Assurance
  • Build effective relationships with stakeholders from Assurance and other SL’s on annuity planning module
  • Champion and understand the role of AI in annuity planning, acting as an internal business advisor in this space
  • Identify opportunities for Experience Managers to self-serve and upskill in the areas of reporting

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Proficient in other Microsoft applications, notably Powerpoint and the creation of impactful presentations
  • Strong understanding of Data Visualization tools, Power BI, Tableau including developing and designing new dashboards
  • Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail
  • This position is available to candidates in various EY offices across Canada. Please note that due to the national scope of the role, proficiency in English is required
  • Proven client service focus, with an ability to resolve issues quickly, with a sense of urgency
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Flexible in adapting to constantly changing priorities
  • Outstanding teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Confident at working independently and a self-starter
  • Adept at handling multiple tasks, with strong organizational skills
  • Experience in a professional services firm desirable
  • Bachelor's degree, 6-8 years of work experience, project management experience or certification preferred

The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $92,300 to $153,800. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.
