USA - Assurance - Forensic & Integrity Services - Technology - Intern - Summer 2025
About our business
Now is an exciting time to join the EY Forensic & Integrity Services group (“Forensics”) as uncertain regulatory and enforcement priorities and changing business models continue to push companies and their business partners to operate with integrity while balancing their risks. The Forensics practice has a specialty technology group that has two main service lines: Discovery Services and Forensic Data Analytics. Our professionals help organizations investigate alleged misconduct, mitigate technology and financial risks, and perform electronic evidence discovery in response to internal and external events. We also provide a broad range of solutions-based services to assist our clients with developing processes and identifying technologies to allow them to efficiently and effectively respond to investigations, digital forensic compromises and/or discovery obligations.
You’ll find that every day at EY is a new opportunity, as you’ll have plenty of variety working in different sectors, from banking to pharma to energy — where you’ll learn extensively about different workflows and IT infrastructures. We’ll need you to become a specialist, through mastering the fundamentals, with our clients by guiding them through difficult situations within operations and systems. You’ll learn a broad range of forensic workflows, tools, and analytical technologies and develop an intimate knowledge of discovery process and procedure as well as clients’ systems and intra-workings.
As a Forensic & Integrity Services Intern, you will be introduced to Forensics’ various service offerings and digital forensics, discovery, and analytics toolsets during an extensive on-the-job training program. Once you have developed the necessary skills you will have the opportunity to assist local and global engagement teams on various projects ranging from internal investigations to discovery requests to solutions assessments—depending on your interests, capabilities, and travel preferences.
What you will do
Execute technical tasks related to detecting, preventing and responding to legal and compliance risks that corporations face.
Perform quality checks on work products to confirm that our clients receive high quality deliverables.
Proactively and effectively communicate project and task status and outputs to various stakeholders.
Develop strong relationships among team members and build productive working relationships with clients to deliver exceptional client service.
Utilize technology to continually learn and develop skills in discovery, digital forensics and forensic data analytics.
Collaborate with team members to think critically and assist in the development and integration of enhanced policies, processes and technologies that will address clients’ needs.
