People Consulting – Change Management: Manager

Key Responsibilities

As a Manager, you will work collaboratively to deliver innovative yet practical change management solutions for a range of business challenges and transformation efforts. You will lead teams across change management disciplines, including communications, training, business readiness, and stakeholder engagement. You will also engage and build relationships with colleagues and clients, while advising key stakeholders in a variety of industries. Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Developing change management strategies based on considerations of the client’s environment, stakeholder needs, and the desired future state
  • Overseeing the analysis of change and stakeholder impacts from the client’s transformation initiative
  • Engaging with client leadership to promote sponsorship and commitment
  • Designing and delivering high-impact communications and stakeholder engagement campaigns
  • Evaluating training needs and creating training tools and materials that create ownership of the solution
  • Conducting business readiness assessments, evaluating results, and developing appropriate mitigation strategies for sustained change

Skills and Attributes for success

Some key capabilities you should be prepared to bring to client facing and internal initiative teams include:

  • Technical competence in our key change management capabilities and a practical/business driven approach to solving complex client challenges
  • Ability to generate profitable revenue by identifying additional engagement opportunities and building lasting relationships with clients
  • Project management skills and the ability to lead project work streams, from planning through implementation – including managing project resources and budgets effectively, and appropriately managing risks and issues
  • Teaming skills, including the ability to create an inclusive environment and serve as a coach to our people

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • Relevant professional service experience, with a global management consultancy firm, or niche consultancy in which you gained exposure to a large-scale project(s)
  • Around 6-9 years of prior experience in Change Management with success in current job applying one or more of these capabilities
  • A primary degree and relevant post-graduate qualification
  • Ability to travel regularly

What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $124,700 to $228,800. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $149,700 to $260,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
