The opportunity

Are you looking to play a key role in enhancing employee experiences for a range of clients? As an Employee Services Specialist, you will be the cornerstone of support for our clients’ employees, addressing their needs and inquiries with efficiency and empathy as a service provider. This is a hands-on role where your expertise in navigating HR systems, resolving employee questions, and interpreting company policies will ensure a seamless service experience for EY’s clients and their employees located in various geographies. You'll collaborate closely with HR Business Partners to deliver timely solutions to workforce related changes, demonstrating your problem-solving skills and commitment to excellence.

Your key responsibilities

  • Handle employee inquiries and keep systems updated in relation to onboarding, compensation & benefit and offboarding, across various geographies at our clients’ organizations, via ticketing systems and email inboxes (Budapest-based work with no travel required)
  • Prepare, review and analyze employee-related documents, reports, spreadsheets
  • Liaise closely with client-side HR partners and fellow EY specialists to manage employee relations and workforce changes (daily English language communication via Teams)
  • Help with updates on HR policies, procedures, and benefits
  • Participate in process improvement, service enhancement and offerings development
  • Work together with EY leadership to develop service offerings and bid for new projects, and consequently drive the setup of new client partnerships

Skills and attributes for success

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Employee Services / Managed Services / HR Shared Services
  • Proficient level of English, verbally and in writing (Hungarian language is not essential)
  • BA degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Advanced computer skills and experience in using HR systems/applications: ERP/HCM systems (e.g. Workday), HR tools and platforms, workforce analytics and cost modelling in Excel, presentations in PowerPoint, data visualization in PowerBI, etc.
  • Aptitude for understanding end-to-end employee processes with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Customer-centric attitude and excellent communication skills
  • High level of empathy and the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion
  • Experience with various workforce scenarios (e.g. change in compensation structures, role relocations, complex employee queries)
  • Strong attention to details, well-organized workstyle, and adherence to deadlines
  • Team-player attitude, ability to work closely with local and global teams (within regular CEE working hours)
  • Existing lawful residence in Hungary
