POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Business Advisor, Human Resources, BDC Advisory Services delivers standard and customized advisory services projects within the human resources expertise, with a strong focus on high‑quality professional solutions that help entrepreneurs grow their businesses. He or she adapts easily to the diverse realities of SMEs and quickly identifies their needs.
In a context of accelerated digital transformation, the person also plays a key role in supporting organizations in the strategic and responsible integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into their HR and management practices.
The Senior Business Advisor manages project delivery, provides subject‑matter expertise and sales support, and contributes to the promotion and continuous evolution of the advisory services offering.
CHALLENGES TO BE MET
Provide sales support by conducting HR needs assessments for clients, including issues related to digital transformation and AI, and by contributing to the development of customized service proposals.
Manage project execution by overseeing scope, budget, timelines, and objectives, and by ensuring quality assurance of project deliverables.
Act as a human resources subject‑matter expert and stay current on emerging trends, particularly AI applications in people management, to support the development and evolution of advisory solutions and tools.
Support executives and managers in the reflection, adoption, and integration of AI into HR practices, particularly in relation to process optimization (recruitment, talent management, performance management, learning and development).
Work closely with the Client Partners to facilitate knowledge transfer, support the implementation of recommended solutions, deliver projects, and identify opportunities for new mandates.
Contribute to the visibility and outreach of the advisory services specialty by developing content, tools, or awareness‑building initiatives related to HR best practices.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or any other relevant field.
CRHA‑CRIA designation considered an asset.
More than 10 years of experience in a consulting firm or within SMEs, including significant experience in talent management and one‑on‑one executive or management coaching.
Strong business development skills combined with a high ability to communicate and simplify complex concepts, adapting messages to diverse audiences.
Ability to design pragmatic solutions tailored to the realities of SMEs, including recommendations related to the transformation of HR practices and the integration of AI.
Strong interest in new technologies and the ability to clearly explain AI‑related challenges and opportunities to executives and managers, without an overly technical approach.
Strong client orientation and customer service mindset, focused on value creation and tangible impact for clients.
Proven ability to manage and deliver both standard and customized consulting projects.
Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices in a professional services environment.
Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, along with the ability to contribute to outreach, promotion, and business development activities.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively in both French and English.
