POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a commercial account manager who will leverage their relational strengths and network to generate new business opportunities while managing a portfolio of existing clients. Your main objective; Have an impact on the success of entrepreneurs with sales between $3 million and $50 million through our financing solutions and consulting services tailored to their needs. CHALLENGES TO BE MET
Here's what a typical week looks like:
You meet with entrepreneurs, clients and prospects, and you discuss the particularities of their business to raise issues, provide advice and identify, if necessary, a BDC service offer appropriate to their business needs;
You will execute your action plan aligned with the objectives of the Business Centre. This will allow you to ensure the growth and retention of current customers in your portfolio while acquiring new customers and creating a pipeline of business opportunities.
You analyze, negotiate and present financing proposals by exercising a credit judgment.
You are active in the local business community by networking within various associations, chambers of commerce in order to develop business relationships and solicit referrals that will facilitate the acquisition of new customers.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
If you can answer YES to the following questions, you could be the person we are looking for:
Do you have a bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration?
Are you passionate about entrepreneurship, have more than 5 years of relevant experience in commercial credit or business analysis and development, as well as good knowledge of the business world?
Do you have a demonstrated aptitude for business development and concrete achievement of objectives?
Do your customers and business relations remember you because of the accuracy of your advice and your outstanding customer service?
Are you a team player and build long-lasting, trusting relationships with your peers as well as with business contacts and external partners?
Do you have excellent negotiation skills and are results-oriented?
Written and oral bilingualism in English and French is required.
A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is required.
