POSITION OVERVIEW
Do you have a passion for developing people and driving results? As a Business Centre Manager, you will be a catalyst for growth and innovation—empowering your team to achieve ambitious goals and make a lasting difference for entrepreneurs in the Vancouver market. Through thoughtful leadership, transparent communication, and a commitment to developing talent, you will shape a high-performing culture that drives business success and fosters enduring relationships within the business community. Your ability to inspire, drive change, and lead by example will be essential in advancing BDC’s mission.
CHALLENGES TO BE MET
Set and communicate a clear direction for your team, while aligning with BDC’s long-term business objectives
Work closely with your team to meet and exceed overall objectives related to new client acquisition, financing and advisory solutions, client service, portfolio growth, as well as other key metrics
Recruit, develop, and retain talent
Foster transparent communication and an environment of openness
Connect with local business professionals to develop relationships and obtain referrals
Contribute to area and regional growth objectives as part of the leadership team
Foster the growth and performance of team members through coaching, mentorship, and continuous development initiatives
CE QUE NOUS RECHERCHONS
Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration/Accounting/Finance or relevant field)
3+ years of front-line sales leadership experience and/or 10–15 years’ progressive experience in financial services
Excellent communication skills, including public speaking
Recognized for outstanding customer service
Exceptional at prioritizing and managing multiple stakeholders
Proven ability to lead high performing teams
Professional credentials such as MBA, CPA, CFA, PMP, or CMC (asset)
A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is required.
