POSITION OVERVIEW

The Executive Coordinator provides high-level administrative and operational support to the SVP of Corporate Financing and Syndicated Financing. This role requires strong organizational skills, a high degree of discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This person serves as a key point of contact between the SVP and internal and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and effective coordination.

CHALLENGES TO BE MET

  • Manage complex calendars efficiently, including scheduling meetings and coordinating travel arrangements

  • Prepare briefing materials, reports, and presentations for internal and external meetings

  • Handle confidential correspondence and maintain effective organizational systems

  • Contribute to the planning and execution of meetings, departmental initiatives, and special events

  • Act as a liaison between the Senior Vice President and internal and external partners, facilitating communication.

  • Follow up on action items and ensure deadlines are met

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s or college degree in Business Administration or a related discipline

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an executive support role, preferably in financial services or a corporate environment

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual collaboration tools

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English

  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to proactively anticipate needs

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with senior executives in a bilingual environment

  • Familiarity with BDC’s internal systems and processes
