Qualifications Required for the Assistantship
- Must be able to attend class as needed*
- Previous evaluation of performance as an Assistant at the University (if applicable).
- Completed or enrolled in BSW with strong standing in SWP302 and SWP402; Masters or PhD
- Greater preference will be accorded to Doctoral candidates, then Master’s candidates.
Relevant Experience:
- Degree with a focus on Social Policy preferred, previous social policy courses required
- Previous experience as a TA/GA for social policy preferred
- Knowledge of social policy, social inclusion, policy as a tool of marginalization AND social
- change required
- Knowledge of technology and communication technologies and experience working with D2L
- required
- Working in a team environment and independently
