Toronto Metropolitan University is reshaping the downtown core of Toronto with three new buildings: the Mattamy Athletic Centre at the Gardens, the Toronto Metropolitan University Image Centre in the heart of campus, and a Student Learning Centre on Yonge Street. In addition, currently in progress is the development of a new multipurpose building, the Church Street development (CSD). This new building will be located just north of Dundas on Church Street and will be home to four academic health services programs, Toronto Met. University food services, administration, and a student residence.

Greater preference will be accorded first to Doctoral candidates, then Master's candidates.

Relevant Experience:

The successful candidate will have experience working in a workshop environment.

Course delivery: Weekly on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 0900 to 1200 hours Class attendance will sometimes be required; the timing is yet to be determined by the supervisor.

IDN 201 Course Description: Fabrication I introduces analog methods of making through an applied study of 3D principles and elements of design. In a workshop setting, students experiment with hands-on prototyping techniques while building knowledge and skills with various tools and materials.
