Toronto Metropolitan University is reshaping the downtown core of Toronto with three new buildings: the Mattamy Athletic Centre at the Gardens, the Toronto Metropolitan University Image Centre in the heart of campus, and a Student Learning Centre on Yonge Street. In addition, currently in progress is the development of a new multipurpose building, the Church Street development (CSD). This new building will be located just north of Dundas on Church Street and will be home to four academic health services programs, Toronto Met. University food services, administration, and a student residence.

Enrolled in: 4th year of TMU Undergraduate Program or Law school
Overall academic performance at B+ (3.3 GPA) or above.
Must have completed course with B+ (3.3 GPA) or above grade level.
Previous evaluation of performance as an Assistant at the University (if applicable).

Relevant Experience:

• 4th year undergrad or preference to those Enrolled in or completion of Law School at an Undergraduate Program or Graduate Program in Law
• J.D. and graduate applicants from a law school will be considered based upon their transcripts and course experience.
• Relevant experience: successful completion of Legal Research and Writing
• ALL applicants must specify their availability to teach tutorials at one or more of the following times: Tuesday 10-11 am; Wednesday 11 am-12 pm; Friday 10-11 am; Friday 11 am-12 pm
• Past experience as a Main AA and/or Tutorial AA in LAW204 or equivalent legal research and writing course is an asset; preference for past Main AA experience for Main AA role.
• Overall academic performance at B+ (3.3 GPA) and above;
• Excellent oral communication (English) and interpersonal skills;
• Excellent computer skills;
