Our client is a fast growing, Toronto based start up that is looking to add a new SDR to their sales team! Our client offers a Saas/AI based tool that is designed to help construction professionals quickly identify potential risks in their project documents and drawings.

About the Role: Sales Development Representative

The Sales Development Representative is responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities to fuel the company's growth in the construction technology sector. The SDR engages with potential clients, educates them on the solution, and sets the stage for successful sales engagements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Generation: Proactively identify and research potential clients within the construction industry who could benefit from the solutions
  • Outreach: Initiate contact with prospects through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and social media, to introduce potnetial solutions
  • Qualification: Assess the needs and challenges of potential clients to determine alignment within the products and services.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings or demonstrations between qualified leads and the sales team to further the sales process.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to develop strategies for lead generation and conversion.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of interactions with prospects in the company's Customer Relationship Management system.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools is a plus.
  • 1+ year in B2B sales is a strong asset
  • Experience in the construction or technology sectors is advantageous.
