Sales Associate - Programmatic

Who we're looking for:

We’re looking for a Programmatic Sales Associate to join the Programmatic Solutions team at Rogers Sports & Media. The select candidate will be responsible for supporting programmatic campaigns across top national advertisers and agencies in Canada, in addition to managing and developing an individual sales territory. Leveraging the power of premium sports, news and entertainment Streaming TV and Audio brands including Sportsnet+, Citytv+, Disney+, Tubi, NBC, and Wondery, in addition to the full extent of the RSM premium digital offering, you will be supporting a portfolio comprised of some of the most premium, in demand inventory in Canada. You will also work with one of the most comprehensive data sets in Canada (R.E.D.) to provide our advertising partners with the marketing outcomes they seek.

As a Programmatic Sales Associate, you will also be responsible for working cross collaboratively within the RSM revenue sales team. You will be joining a team of fun, dynamic and innovative market leaders at the forefront of advanced advertising. In doing so, you will grow your own skillset and knowledge in the space of data, addressability and automation.

What you'll do:

  • Work and collaborate with RSM Programmatic Account Executives to build and support programmatic campaign strategy and execution for Programmatic Guaranteed and Private Auction deals across the RSM digital / programmatic product suite inclusive of Streaming TV Video / Audio, OLV, Display
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide campaign results to clients, offering insights and recommendations for optimizations and future campaigns
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, fostering strong relationships and understanding their advertising objectives
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices and apply knowledge to continuously enhance campaign effectiveness


Sales Development:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your industry expertise and network to drive revenue growth
  • Present and showcase the value of our advertising solutions in order to secure new partnerships
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their advertising needs and challenges.
  • Negotiate and close deals to meet and exceed sales targets


What you bring:

  • 2+ years of experience in programmatic advertising, account management, or sales within the digital advertising industry
  • Proficiency in programmatic advertising platforms, ad exchanges, and DSPs
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights to optimize campaign performance
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
