We currently have multiple Senior Financial Analyst - Financial Planning & Analysis opportunities that we're hiring for. The candidate should be able to leverage strong finance skills and business acumen to play an instrumental role in interfacing with key functional areas and providing insight into the financial results and key drivers behind the numbers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and senior management, to provide valuable insights and recommendations to enhance our financial performance. Applicants for this opportunity must possess strong interpersonal skills coupled with attention to detail and the initiative to work independently. We are looking for a talented and outgoing individual to join our team where you will have a chance to innovate, grow, build and maintain relationships at varying levels.
What you'll do:
- Develop budgets and forecasts from financial analyses, addressing accounting related queries/issues
- Forecast preparation and submission: review business submission, challenging assumptions to refine forecast accuracy
- Provide commentary and analysis on monthly results vs. budget and forecast on monthly, quarterly basis
- Develop and implement performance measurement dashboards including operational metrics/KPIs
- Work cross-functionally to assist in various financial and reporting requirements while ensuring that best practices of corporate standards and policies are complied with
- Provide support with financial models, business cases, deep dives analysis, reporting package improvements and other initiatives
- Special projects: collaborating with colleagues in sourcing required information to suggest solutions
What you'll have:
- CPA (or working towards CPA) is considered an asset
- 3-5 years of progressive financial and/or accounting experience
- Advanced skills in Access, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills
- Comfort and confidence in dealing with senior leadership and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with a demonstrated history of engaging with leadership in both business and finance
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle competing priorities under short timelines
- Knowledge of Oracle Financial Systems and Hyperion/Essbase/Smartview is an asset
- For select FP&A roles, proficiency with SAS, SQL, Databricks, Python and Tableau is an asset

This is a hybrid work position and will require you to be in office three days per week. You can choose which days in office work best for you!
