Who we're looking for:
We are looking for a strategic, high-performing, and passionate brand-marketer to join our team as a Manager, Sport Partnerships. Interested? You will contribute to the development and execution of Rogers partnership strategy that not only breaks through but delivers against business objectives. Candidates must have an aptitude for strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and bring demonstrated experience planning, executing, and managing integrated partnership campaigns.

Reporting to the Director, Partnerships this role is responsible for strategy & execution across Rogers’ suite of partners and community initiatives to drive business results.
What you'll do:

Program lead across various sport partnerships (hockey, baseball, tennis & golf – specific portfolio to be established based on candidate)

Collaborate with internal and external cross-functional partners including Media, Creative, Experiential and Research/ Insights teams to lead, develop and execute integrated campaigns

Manage Partnership marketing campaigns:
-
Strategy & Development of multiple projects
-
Lead program execution from end-to-end
-
Drive the creative brief writing process
-
Insights-driven creative development and media planning to activate Rogers partnerships
-
Define and track key performance KPIs to measure success (post reports)
-
Identifying opportunities/ key learnings to increase successful outcomes
-
Lead key responsibilities across Rogers’ partnerships portfolio:
-
Prepare memos/decks/ plans for senior leadership
-
Identifying and building partnership strategy that will optimize performance and deliver business results

Contribute insightful context to inform strategic thinking
-

Continuously identify ways to challenge the status quo and elevate Rogers partnerships relevant to business objectives and new innovative spaces for Rogers with potential for long-term growth and business impact – i.e. 5G innovation, fan/ community experiences, customer impact programs, digital experiences.
What you bring:

5+ years of marketing, strategic planning, and/or related partnerships experience managing large scale integrated campaigns

University degree, preferably in marketing, and/or related field

Critical-thinker with experience translating consumer insights into actionable tactics
-
Understanding and use of research tools to distill data to insights
-
Strong communication skills – confident brief / memo/ deck writer & verbal storyteller

Ability to establish relationships and to influence
-
Desire to innovate and share ideas that have real business impacts

Deep understanding of partnership marketing industry landscape and trends (an intimate knowledge of North American / Global sports culture is a plus)

Solutions oriented approach to problem solving

A collaborator that can work successfully across all organizational levels in a fast-paced environment

Ability to embrace change and continue to evolve

Excellent organization and project management, able to manage multiple high-profile projects at once

This is a hybrid work position and will require you to be in office three days per week. You can choose which days work best for you!
