Intent of the process
This process will be used to establish a pool of qualified candidates.
It may also be used to staff similar positions with various tenures (Deployment, Assignment, Secondment, Acting, Term or Indeterminate) within Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) and Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC) in different locations with various language profiles and requirements (bilingual imperative BBB/BBB or CBC/CBC or English Essential) and various security requirements (reliability or secret).

EDUCATION:
ED1 - A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives*.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
ASSET EDUCATION:
AED1 - Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.
ASSET EXPERIENCE:
AEX1 - Experience working with First Nations, Inuit, or Metis peoples or Indigenous organizations.
AEX2 - Experience with front-line client service.
AEX3 - Experience in conducting research, analyzing information from multiple sources, and developing recommendations related to programs or projects.
AEX4 - *Recent experience providing administrative support directly to a manager (organizing schedules, meetings, follow-up, and correspondence).
AEX5 - Experience providing advice and guidance to senior management (director or above).
AEX6 - *Recent experience supervising employees.
AEX7 - *Recent experience conducting HR staffing processes or recruitment within the Federal Public Service.
AEX8 - Experience editing PDF files.
AEX9 - Experience working in the additions to reserve process.
AEX10 - *Recent experience working with various federal government databases including but not limited to Grants and Contributions Information Management System (GCIMS), GCdocs, Indian Lands Registration System (ILRS), Health Information Claims Systems (HICPS), Medical Transportation Record System (MTRS), Mental Health Services Tracking System (MHSTS), etc.
AEX11 - Experience drafting operational procedures.
AEX12 - *Recent experience coaching/training/mentoring others.
AEX13 - Experience in financial management (i.e. management of program funding, budgets, expenditures, audits, program allocations or forecasting) which could include: monitoring contracts, grants, contribution agreements, or funding arrangements.
AEX14 - Experience in reviewing proposals, projects or contracts to determine eligibility against criteria and making recommendations.
AEX15 - Experience participating in annual audited financial statement reviews and program evaluation.
*Recent is defined as within the last five years
