⭐ The CT-FIN Development Program is the largest recruiter of university graduates in the finance field across the public service. This structured 30-month development program aligns with the Office of the Comptroller General (OCG) and Treasury Board Secretariat (TBS) National Financial Officer Recruitment and Development (FORD) Program.
Through work assignments, training and other professional development activities, the program’s two streams of trainees are supported throughout the two and a half years, with the CPA stream emphasis on attaining their professional accounting designation

🏢 As per the TBS common hybrid work model for the Federal Public Service, there is an in-person requirement of at least 3 days per week in the office.

A pool of partially or essentially qualified candidates may be established through this process and may be used to staff identical or similar positions at the Department of National Defence.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
The minimum standard for positions classified at the FIDP level and above is always met through either of the following Education or Occupational Certification:
▶ A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, with acceptable specialization in accounting, finance, business administration, commerce, or economics AND experience related to positions in the Financial Management subgroup
OR
▶ Eligibility for a recognized Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
Acceptable Specialization:
↪ At DND, specialization at the FIDP level and above is defined as the successful completion of six (6) university level accounting, finance, business administration, commerce, or economics courses

Preference
