Lerners is seeking a full-time Administrative Clerk to support our Health Law Group. The ideal candidate will have preferably over 3 years’ experience working in a similar role. The Administrative Clerk will provide support to the Health Law Group Administrator, Practice Group, and Practice Group Leaders. This position is based in London, Ontario and is an in-office position.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing administrative support as assigned by the HLG Administrator including regular assistance on regular monthly and quarterly reporting.
- Maintain and update administrative records of all client matters within various databases.
- Processing file openings for new client matters including data entry and updating file data as required.
- Respond to internal inquiries and maintain internal communication inbox.
- Provide training support to firm members for select databases.
- Provide back-up support to the Medical and Legal Support Clerk, Client Referrals Clerks and Billing Clerks.
- Provide administrative support for promotional activities/educational initiatives of the Health Law Group.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant/Clerk or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience in a direct-to-client service role required.
- Experience in a law office setting and Health Law preferred.
- Previous experience in a health-related setting is an asset.
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency with relevant technologies; experience using MS Office Suite Pro; Kofax Power PDF Advanced; Microsoft Access, Automated Civil Litigation (ACL), and accounting software an asset.
- Familiarity with maintaining databases and pulling data to support administrative function.
- Strong work ethic and adherence to internal/external client service excellence.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Client confidentiality consciousness.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, including time management and task prioritization.
- Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated good judgement and conscientiousness.

Salary:
Target Hiring Range: $46,420.04 - $58,025.05
Commensurate with skill level, years of experience, and aligned with internal and market equity.
