PROFILE
We are currently recruiting for a Hospitality Boardroom Attendant to join our fast-paced Servery team. As an integral member of the Servery, the incumbent will provide support to other areas of the Office Services & Facilities Department during the 12:00pm to 8:00pm shift.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Serve meals and refreshments in boardrooms and cafes on each floor, monitoring for overall presentation and cleanliness
- Monitor the Servery Department emails and phones, liaising and responding to both internal and external clients, caterers, vendors
- Book meetings and boardrooms using boardroom-booking software
- Process and order catering and refreshments requests
- Perform shopping duties for last minute catering needs
- Support special events
- Clean up boardrooms after meetings and floor cafes on a daily basis
- Flexibility in hours is required, as overtime may be required from time to time
- Lift up to 50 lbs, as required and use kitchen equipment
- Any other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school Diploma
- At least 1 year of experience in a food or client service industry
- Ability to work in a business-like and professional manner, in a fast pace environment
- Ability to work well with others, as well as independently
- Proficient with using MS Outlook
- Ability to learn new software
- Possessing WHIMIS, Food Safety and Smart Serve Certifications are an asset
