If you are graduating in Spring 2027, as well as recent 2026 graduates, who are interested in technical, design, documentation and field-based opportunities across Ontario. Depending on your qualifications, interests and the needs of our teams, opportunities may be available within our different business groups.

To qualify for a graduate position, you must be graduating in Spring 2027 or have graduated during 2026 and have less than two years of professional experience related to your field of study. Co-op placements, internships, research projects and academic work are not considered professional experience for this requirement.

Our opportunities may be based in locations including Toronto, Mississauga, Markham, Whitby, Waterloo, St. Catharines, Peterborough or other GHD offices in Ontario. Available locations will depend on the specific position and team.

What we're looking for

We're seeking final-year students graduating in Spring 2027 and recent 2026 graduates who are eager to learn, passionate about making a positive impact and excited to contribute to meaningful projects that shape the future of our communities.

At GHD, our teams support a diverse range of projects across infrastructure, buildings, transportation, water, environmental, energy and community development sectors. As a Graduate Technician, Technologist or Designer, you will work alongside experienced professionals to support project delivery through a combination of technical, design, documentation, data collection, field and project support activities.

You will gain hands-on experience, develop practical technical skills and contribute to meaningful projects while building your career in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment.

Working with an energetic and high-performing team, this position offers a variety of work and might see you involved in:

  • Supporting design, technical, field and project delivery activities.
  • Assisting with technical documentation, drawings, digital models, reports and project records.
  • Collecting, organizing and analyzing project information and data.
  • Participating in field investigations, inspections, site visits or project-related activities, depending on the role.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support successful project outcomes.
  • Contributing to quality, safety and compliance requirements.
  • Building technical capability through training, mentorship and hands-on experience.

What you will bring to the Team

  • A recent or upcoming degree, diploma, advanced diploma, certificate or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Graduation in Spring 2027 or during 2026.
  • Less than two years of professional experience related to your field of study.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive attitude, willingness to learn and commitment to continuous professional development.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • A genuine interest in innovation, sustainability and creating positive outcomes for communities.

College Intern/Co-op rate $21 ~ 22.- | College Graduate rate $28.5 ~ 30.-

Salary Range is based on the preferred work location. If the selected candidate´s location differs, changes to the salary range may apply.
