GHD is looking for an Office Cleaner/Janitor to join our facilities team in Waterloo, Ontario.

Job Summary:

• Sweeping, vacuuming or mopping floors

• Cleaning and disinfecting washrooms, fixtures & shower areas

• Cleaning & dusting in boardrooms & meeting areas

• Cleaning & dusting desks and monitors

• Cleaning of gym & equipment

• Wash and fold gym towels & restock cabinet

• Garbage collection and removal

• Cleaning of kitchens, eating areas, offices and common areas

• Empty dishwashers & put clean dishes away

• Replenishing soap & paper towel dispensers etc.

• Other misc. duties as required

Qualifications Required:

• Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum one year experience in cleaning and maintenance, preferably in a commercial building
• Ability to comprehend and communicate detailed instructions orally and written
• Highly motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team, with minimal supervision
• Ability to multitask and work within tight timelines
• Must be punctual, reliable, and hardworking
• Friendly and patient attitude
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisor

The salary range for this position is $18.50 – $21 per hour The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for GHD locations in its major city centres. Ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At GHD, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location.
