Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for a Graduate Environmental Engineer to research, design, plan, and perform engineering duties in the prevention, control, and remediation of environmental hazards using various engineering disciplines. Work may include waste treatment, site remediation, or pollution control technology.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats. Involves working independently. Preparation of Acoustic Assessment Reports for ECA Applications and EASR Registrations
- Health, Safety, and Environment: Follow the organization's health, safety, and environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to the well-being of self and others in the workplace; instruct the team in safe working methods; identify instances of risky behaviors within the team and take appropriate action, escalating serious issues as appropriate. Environmental Compliance Approvals (ECA), Construction noise and vibration, highway expansion, land development, noise complaint investigations, building acoustics, and large environmental assessments
- Engineering Drawings: Create engineering drawings to support the communication, evaluation, and implementation of engineering solutions.
- Engineering Solutions Design: Contribute to the development of, and implement feasibility testing of, proposed engineering solutions to provide feedback and data to validate the design.
- Technical Developments Recommendation: Research and suggest technical developments to improve the quality of the website/portal/software and supporting infrastructure to better meet users’ needs.
- Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching. Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
- Testing: Use product specifications to design test procedures and standards.
- Research: Support others by carrying out a range of research activities.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Support technical troubleshooting efforts, aiding in the quick and accurate identification, analysis, and resolution of technical issues with equipment and experiments.
- Project Management: Support others by carrying out a range of project management activities.
- Client & Customer Management (External): Help senior colleagues manage client and customer relationships by using relevant sales or client systems.
What you will bring to the Team:
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level
Experience
- General Experience: Sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems (7 to 12 months)
- Managerial Experience: None
- Valid G driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- Previous experience in computer aided design (CAD) modelling software such as SolidWorks, CATIA and/or Autodesk Inventor is beneficial
- Previous experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software such as CFX, Fluent, StarCCM+ and/or OpenFOAM is beneficial
