Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for a Senior Quality Partner to join our Quality team.
The Senior Quality Partner operates within an Enterprise-wide Quality Management team and is responsible for overseeing the delivery of Enterprise Quality Management objectives across a designated eco-region. In concert with eco-region operational management and Project Delivery, the Senior Partner drives the embedment of quality management principles and supports GHD’s journey towards Top Quartile business performance within the eco-region.
Utilizing various data sources, the Senior Partner identifies strategic areas for improvement and collaborates with appropriate stakeholders to coordinate and influence initiatives that assist GHD in achieving its improvement objectives. Additionally, the role mentors and supports Quality team members within the region, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
The role can be based in most GHD offices throughout the US and Canada.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure the delivery of Enterprise Quality Management objectives within the eco-region.
- Engage with regional and discipline stakeholders (e.g., Project Delivery), to understand their needs and challenges, providing Quality solutions that enhance business outcomes and management practices.
- Utilize various data sources to identify strategic areas for improvement within the eco-region, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements based on data analysis and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions for quality-related issues.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of quality management initiatives, ensuring they meet the desired outcomes and contribute to overall business success.
- Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to coordinate and influence initiatives that support GHD in achieving its improvement objectives.
- Prepare and present reports on quality performance to senior management at eco-region, and region at predetermined intervals.
- Mentor and support quality team members within the region, fostering their professional growth and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the eco-region, encouraging innovation and best practices in quality management.
- Stay updated on changes in international standards and project delivery practices and adjust quality assurance processes accordingly.
Experience and knowledge required:
- Minimum post-secondary education with a focus on quality management, business administration, consulting, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in a consulting, engineering, or project management environment, with a focus in quality management, stakeholder management and improving performance.
- Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, monitoring, and reporting on QMS initiatives, including undertaking quality reviews and audits.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, actively engaging with these stakeholders and developing their Quality capability in the process.
- Demonstrated ability to actively listen and understand diverse perspectives, accurately decipher business context, and gauge the dynamics and needs of various stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of project control procedures, SOPs, and regulations.
- Proven relationship-building, coaching, networking, and negotiation skills with an ability to influence.
- Experience in change management with a record of effectively managing the implementation and adherence of procedures.
- Experience in developing and delivering internal reporting, insights, analyzing, and monitoring tools.
- High-level analytical skills, sound judgment, and decisiveness in problem-solving.
- Experience in environment, health & safety, and quality management programs.
- Experience in project delivery facing roles, providing clear guidance on standard operating. procedures and ensuring compliance with rigorous check and review processes.
