Market & Trend Analysis
- Research emerging challenges and opportunities in infrastructure, energy, and water markets, leveraging AI-enabled platforms and data tools.
- Translate findings into strategic insights that shape thought leadership priorities and guide content development, including background briefs, summaries, and internal memos.
Insight Development
- Engage with subject matter experts to connect market issues with GHD’s expertise and positioning.
- Extract compelling narratives, proof points, and frameworks, and write original content including white papers, blog posts, and reports - that contributes to GHD’s global thought leadership presence.
Content Production
- Generate white space insights that identify untapped opportunities for GHD to lead in global conversations.
- Align insights with audience needs and engagement data to inform editorial direction and focus areas, while drafting content outlines and contributing to editorial calendars.
Data Visualization, Writing & Storytelling
- Structure and present findings using tools such as Python, Power BI, and visualization software to produce compelling and accessible outputs.
- Write and refine high-impact content—including data-driven articles, executive summaries, and presentations—that synthesize insights for both technical and non-technical audiences
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in market research, consulting, or policy analysis
- Experience with utilities, infrastructure firms, think tanks, or global consulting environments
- Solid understanding of energy, water, and infrastructure challenges facing communities globally
- Proficiency in data tools (e.g., Python, Power BI, Excel) and familiarity with AI/ML applications in research
- Exceptional research, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to develop executive-level reports and narratives
- Proven ability to synthesize complex information into concise, actionable insights
- High intellectual curiosity, with a global mindset and collaborative approach
Educational requirements:
- Engineering (e.g., Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, Energy Systems)
- Environmental Science or Studies
- Political Science or International Relations (with a sustainability/energy policy focus)
