Project Coordinator/ EIT - Multiple locations available

This position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

  • Data Collection and Analysis: Conduct environmental monitoring in the field, including surface water and groundwater monitoring, and process and analyse results.
  • Insights and Reporting: Prepare technical documents, including draft work plans, reports, and biological/chemical datasets. ·Work in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary project team to complete environmental assessments and permit applications.
  • Document preparation, Bid Solicitation/Request for Proposal/Tender Preparation: Collaborate in the preparation of proposals and business development, prepare technical reports.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment: Follow the organization's health, safety, and environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to the well-being of self and others in the workplace; instruct the team in safe working methods; identify instances of risky behaviors within the team and take appropriate action, escalating serious issues as appropriate.
  • Project Management: Assist with contract administration and cost control
  • Client & Customer Management (External): Help senior colleagues manage client and customer relationships by using relevant sales or client systems.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering or similar.
  • EIT registered / Engineers Nova Scotia
  • 0-2 years of industry experience
  • Strong technical writing, data analysis and interpretation skills
  • Willing to travel for work and able to conduct fieldwork
  • Previous field experience is an asset
  • Must hold a valid Driver’s license
