Who we are looking for?

Due to continued rapid growth and expansion of the water group globally, we are seeking a Water Program Director to Lead a program and project teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes, providing program management leadership within the business, along with business development and client pursuits by preparing bids, proposals and estimates.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

  • Provide program management leadership across major water and mining programs in Ontario, and potentially across the Americas
  • Provide leadership in helping to upskill staff and existing processes and systems to improve program management capability within the business
  • Work with Water and Mining Market Leaders to identify business opportunities within the water and mining sector.
  • Develop client relationships, including ensuring proactive positioning for upcoming opportunities
  • In collaboration with Water and Mining leadership, establish relevant project teams for all opportunities and engagements
  • Work with Water and Mining leadership to identify team growth and development needs
  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships across key clients and industry sectors.
  • Focused business development to support the success and development of the business
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, Project Directors, PM Group Team Leads, Project / Job Managers and project team members

What you will bring to the team:

  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in the delivery of Programs and complex Projects in the water or the mining sector
  • Understanding of, and commitment to Project Management best practices and minimum standards
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and manage successful program and project delivery
  • Ability to work within complex environments, responding positively to evolving constraints
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to develop relevant Project Controls systems
  • Experience across a number of Project Controls tools and systems
  • Leadership and people development focus
  • Focus on personal safety and safe working practices
  • Flexibility to travel
  • Availability to work flexible hours, based on project requirements and deadlines.
