Who are we looking for?

Due to continuing growth, we are seeking an Engineering Graduate with experience and interest in surface water resources and water distribution for our Vancouver, BC office.

*This position will commence in May 2025*

This position will provide the opportunity to join our innovative, supportive, and dynamic water group. You will be working on a variety of infrastructure projects for both public and private clients within the field of surface water resources which includes hydrologic and hydraulic assessments, water quality assessments, site level stormwater management, green infrastructure, environmental monitoring, asset management and assessments, and construction administration and inspection.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in

  • Assist in developing detailed design documents including technical drawings, specifications, calculations and contract documents for multi-discipline projects
  • Assist in development, coordination and implementation of field investigation programs performed by subcontractors or internal technicians and other field personnel
  • Technical report development including inspections and assessments, asset management, health and safety, environmental assessments, and detailed design reports
  • Summarize and interpret data collected as part of the field investigations and monitoring studies with guidance from senior design team members
  • Communicate and coordinate with equipment vendors and contractors
  • On-site inspection and assessment activities of various client infrastructure
  • Construction management activities including on-site inspections, construction oversight, and construction contract administration

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering (Civil or Environmental) or Environmental Science
  • 0-2 years of relatable experience, ideally on design or construction of stormwater management infrastructure or watercourse restoration
  • Strong technical report writing and communication skills
  • Strong computer skills including experience with the Microsoft suite, and familiarity with AutoCAD
  • Experience and interest in infrastructure projects with a focus on water and wastewater systems
  • Class G Driver’s License

Salary Range: $64-76k, based on experience.
