The Transportation group within GHD Canada works with Provincial, Regional, and local municipal transportation agencies on large scale projects across the whole Transportation spectrum of highways, roads and bridges, transit infrastructure, transportation planning and roundabouts. Our team provides integrated transportation services throughout the project lifecycle from initial policy, transportation economics and business case advice, through concept, detailed design and construction administration.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and may see you involved in:

• Work with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects from concept development through to detailed design and construction
• Contribute to the development of technical reports, cost estimates, technical specifications and contract documents
• Support with project coordination tasks including project documentation, schedule development, monthly reporting and invoicing
• Complete design tasks under the supervision of the Engineer of Record
• Support with preparing proposals under the direction of a proposal lead
• Conduct quality reviews to ensure GHD’s quality standards are being met

What you will bring to the team:

• 0-2 years of work experience related to the role.
• Civil Engineer with a E.I.T. registration in BC or eligibility to become registered
• Valid class 5 drivers' license with driving record in good standing
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Adobe, Bluebeam, MS Project
• Experience with design software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AutoTURN and Syncro, is considered an asset
• Knowledge of travel forecasting methods & roadway geometrics
• Excellent report/letter/technical memo writing skills along with superior verbal communications
• Preforms well independently as well as in a team environment
• Outstanding organization and time management skills

Salary Range: $64-76k, based on experience.
