We know community impact is important to our staff. Our GHD in the Community program partners with not-for-profit organisations to provide opportunities to work on pro-bono projects, volunteering and fundraising for philanthropic and humanitarian causes. As a business we also funnel some of our profits into the GHD Foundation, a registered charity that works to address disadvantage and inequality in children accessing STEAM education in our countries of operation.

GHD in Traralgon:

GHD is proud of its long presence in Gippsland, supporting our clients with the provision of specialist advice to help them solve their technical challenges. Our services encompass the full life cycle of projects and assets from ideation through design, construction, commissioning, operations, maintenance and deconstruction or repurposing.

Our local office is in Traralgon; however we support a range of clients across the Valley and Gippsland region. With an expanding portfolio of work, we are seeking expressions of interest from students, graduates and early professionals, looking to grow their career and help GHD deliver amazing outcomes for our clients and our people.

Internship Program:

If you’re currently completing tertiary studies, the GHD Internship Program will provide you with practical, on the job experience within a technical field aligned to your studies and where possible, to your aspirational career path.

During your internship, you'll have the opportunity to connect with our recent graduates and our broader Young Professionals and Women in GHD networks, learning from their experiences to help decide whether GHD is the right place to start your graduate career.

Graduate Development Program:

If you have already completed your studies, or are about to complete your tertiary education, the GHD Graduate Program provides a supportive and structured foundation to kickstart your career. Outside of the technical development you’ll gain working within your team, the two year Graduate Development Program will build your broader consulting skills and connect you peers across Australia, New Zealand, the broader Asia Pacific region and the Middle East.

We offer optional rotations in the second year of the program to help explore your career pathway, a structured approach to promotions and salary reviews over your first two years and a culture that is friendly, inclusive and not built on hierarchy.

Who are we looking for?

We’re accepting expressions of interest from students, graduates and early professionals from Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering backgrounds, with an interest in growing a career in the following areas:

• Geotechnical Engineering & Geosciences
